Remembering

This page is dedicated to the memory of two members of our school community who were tragically lost in the Autumn Term of 2024.

Natasha Moore, a beloved teacher at Launde Primary School, passed away in November 2024. Natasha was a highly respected and popular member of our staff, cherished by colleagues and adored by her pupils throughout the years. Her dedication to her pupils and her passion for teaching were truly inspiring.

Maheen Emad, a cherished pupil from Poppyfield, passed away during the Christmas break in December.  Maheen was a vibrant and creative little girl who loved coming to school and enjoyed dressing up and playing in the role-play area. Her infectious laughter and playful spirit brought joy to everyone around her.

Their loss has deeply impacted our school, and we will forever remember their kindness, their smiles, and the positive energy they brought to our lives. Natasha and Maheen will always be a part of the Launde Primary School family, and their memory will continue to inspire us to be the best versions of ourselves.

To remember Natasha and Maheen, we will be working closely with our school community and their families to plan a special memorial and create a lasting tribute within our school. We want to ensure their memories are always remembered and celebrated.
