* New Information * During the Summer Term 2026 Governing Body meeting, Governors ratified a decision to increase the school's operational capacity for Year 3 to Year 6 from 90 to 93 pupils per year group. This change will take effect from Autumn Term 2026 and will help the school accommodate additional pupils where required. The increase relates to the operational capacity of these year groups and ensures that the school can continue to meet local demand while maintaining the high quality of education and support provided to all pupils.

In Year admissions:

We know that the decision to move a child’s school once they have started school is never one taken lightly by parents. The school has a planned admission number of 90 places for each year group, except for Year 3 - 6, where operational limits have been extended to offer 93 places in these year groups from Autumn 2026. However, places do become available within year groups and parents are welcome to contact the local authority to see if a space has become available on the above number.

How do I apply for a school place if my child has an Education, Health and Care Plan or a Statement for SEND?

Children and young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (or Statement of Special Education Needs) follow a different admission and transfer process for a new school. You have a right to request a particular school and this will be considered alongside the information that we have about your child’s special educational needs. The information would have been provided as part of the Education, Health and Care assessment or following the review meeting.

How do we support pupils in care?

There are exceptions for admissions when considering students who are looked after and are under the care of the Local Authority. Please refer to our policy for the information or contact the local authority.
