How to Use Knowledge Organisers at Home 🏡

Knowledge Organisers are a great way to help your child remember what they've learned! Here are some fun ways you can use them together:

• Quiz Time! Ask your child questions from the Knowledge Organiser. You can even make it a game and see who can answer the most! 🎲

• Be the Teacher! Encourage your child to explain a topic from the organiser to you. What do they remember? What was interesting?

• Draw and Label! Can your child draw a picture related to a topic and label it with key words from the organiser? ✍️

• Make Flashcards! Write important words or facts on separate cards and use them to test each other. You could even draw a picture on one side and the word on the other.

• "Find the Word!" Read out a definition or a clue, and see if your child can find the correct word on the Knowledge Organiser.

Doing just a little bit of practice often will really help to embed this new knowledge in your child's memory.
