We all came together to mark the Queen's official birthday by taking part in a playground party on Friday. A very many tables and chairs were set outside so all children could enjoy the picnic lunch together. It was a lovely occasion, with one child stating 'This is the best Friday ever!' The rain held off, the bunting fluttered and the party food was super. It really was a lovely occasion which we are sure the Queen would see most fitting.

Our thanks go to all the staff for their super serving of the food and to the lunchtime chefs for their great planning and preparing. We would also like to thank three Year 5 girls who prepared delicious cakes for the occasion and to some of the School Council members who provided some lovely red, white and blue table decorations. Definitely a day we will all remember!
